I played the beta and I enjoyed it, I'm not a big enough shooting game fan to buy it though.

While it does remind you of halo in the design and the approach, it has it's own personality I like. Not to mention it sold 500 million copies in less than 24 hours, it's gonna be a huge franchise that bungie has planned out.

Not all of it. They stated that the $500 million number mushed up the "shipped" dollar figure with the nutritious digitally distributed "sold" number.

They didn't state how much was to each, though.

I like it, its really fun and the leveling system is cool and works well. The only downsides are that you have to play online and sometimes it gets repetitive.

Yes, you should get it! It's worth the buy because the DLC is going to be ongoing for 10 years. It's worth the money!
