Neji was following a destiny he was "told" to follow.

Naruto didn't know shit until the very end... where he had no choise but to save everyone...? XD how does this make him a hypocrite? :(

He didn't know initially, but everything was made crystal clear to him when he met the Sage. If Naruto is not a fool, he would have realized that he was following a set plan which was his Destiny. Knowing that he could have refused Hagoromo's power and made his own destiny. But he didn't do that, he accepted his Destiny, because deep down he knew that it will lead to a positive outcome.
How did you know deep down what he was thinking? You're either looking too much into it or you're a sasuke fanboy.

Destiny is not set in stone. Just because he excepts it doesn't mean that it's going to become true. Plus it was a prediction not destiny. Something that might happen not definite. Don't agree with you but I can see where you're coming from. +Rep for the title though :win:

And this was like how many years after he said that to Neji?

He didn't accept it because he knew that it would lead to a positive outcome, that page proves that he accepted the power in order to protect his friends.

Even after they sealed Kaguya, Naruto didn't accept the whole fate/destiny thing.

He told the sage that they weren't like his children. If he believed that they were destined and tied to fate, Naruto and Sasuke would've continued the whole cycle of hatred BS.

It was only because Naruto didn't want to accept it that he was able to break the cycle. Proving what he said to Neji was correct.

He decided his own destiny.

EDIT: Gamamura's predictions are glimpses of the future that he "saw" in his dreams.

He saw what Naruto will accomplish in the future, it isn't something which was divinely bestowed upon Naruto. It's thanks to Naruto's own efforts which birthed that outcome.

Fate/Destiny which Neji talked about is something entirely different than what people are pointing out. Neji said that everyone is born with a set destiny that can't be overcome no matter how hard the person goes against it.

This applies to being born into a lower branch of the Hyuga house, the unending curse of hatred of the Uchiha and the continuing cycle of reincarnation between Ashura and Indra. Something that was impossible to prevent and go against.

While other things like getting the favor of the sage or the tailed beasts through his own efforts, doesn't apply to anything that Neji said. It only goes in favor of what Naruto said, being able to change his destiny through his own efforts.

People are actually stupidly pointing out stuff that goes in favor of what Naruto said, while thinking that it was what Neji said.
