its a race really, Naruto will have to take out atleast one beast before Madara seals it inside himself

Naruto is destined to become the next sage. It will be Naruto who would stop the 10 tailed Madara. Not anyone else. The manga is called Naruto. One or the other will happen, Madara will become the host, and be defeated by naruto.
Or madara will get stopped by naruto before he can become the host.
