It's a story. There are climaxes and unexpected events. At the end of the day, sasuke is not dead and naruto will not die. Naruto is in no condition to fight anymore and sasuke was given an upgrade specifically to take out Madara. Authors don't include unnecessary elements to a story.

I'm going to tell you now that I'm saving this thread to come neg you next week or whenever you're wrong.

Sasuke will likely get the rinnegan. Kishi made Hashi give Sasuke his chakra to bind Madara, but that failed. Instead Sasuke was stabbed through the heart. That means Hashi's chakra + Dying moment = Rinnegan... Atleast that's how I think it happened with Madara.

I also think Naruto will get a body upgrade. The only way to save Naruto from dying will be to fuse him with the gedo's arm + with the tailed beast chakra he has he will definitely get the sage's body. Kishi won't strip Naruto of his powers and make Sasuke stronger for nothing. He has big plans fort the both of them.

But you can't say that Sasuke will defeat Madara. Kurama said that Naruto will do something tomorrow, that means he will do something big soon.

Sasuke's upgrade will likely be for the fight with Naruto.

That's what we should be asking you. Kishi has been portraying Sasuke as the one to defeat Madara since he showed up.

How did he portray that? He just said that Sasuke will some day surpass Madara. He also said that Naruto will surpass Hashirama (That's Naruto's dream), but Naruto isn't battling it out with Hashirama.

People need to stop wanting things to go their way so bad that they see things that are not there. Naruto is the child of prophecy that will save the world.

Right now the world is still in danger and rikudo said the complete revival of the Juubi will signal the end of the world. That's what Madara achieved right now, not Obito. The prophecy still stands and don't forget what Kurama said about Naruto doing something tomorrow. What I can gather from that info, I say that Naruto will be the main force again.

The Prophecy is linked to Naruto's birthday... "The complete revival of the Juubi" + "Naruto's going to do something tomorrow", it's all link to Naruto's birthday. That's what Rikudo told the tailed beasts.
