It is interesting how the Hyuuga are about stopping chakra flow and thus can stop use of ninjutsu,
maybe not wanting to follow in the footsteps of Kaguya who probably used ninjutsu.

So, you're saying Kaguya is the originator of JUST the Hyuuga, yet while equally being the originator of Senju and Uchiha and all clans for that matter?

Obviously one points out the latest person(s) from who the family/clan descended from and that would be Hagaromo in case of Senju and Uchiha. If for example Naruto and his wife would give birth to someone who started a new clan, than one wouldnt call Minato and Kushina the ones from who the clan descended, but one would list Naruto and his wife or the first member of that clan.

Therefore you list Hagaromo for Uchiha and Senju and not Kaguya.

I think you mean
"Hagoromo's decendants=Senju and Uchiha
Hagoromo's brothers decendants=uzumaki"

In any case, i dont think so... Possibly. But i'd like to think not.


Fact:
Ashura (younger) had traits of strong physical energy, and a strong life force, as he inherited the sage's body.
Indra (older) had traits of strong chakra, strong spiritual energy, and the sage's eyes.




Opinion:
I'd like to think that Hagoromo's brother is the ancestor of Gin/Kin clan and Jugo's clan, while Hagoromo is the ancestor of Uzumaki and Uchiha.

I'd also like to think that the senju were created by the Uzumaki and Uchiha mating-

Thus why they have both

-strong physical energy (a trait from Ashura, and it shows in the great senju endurance---can outlast others in battle)

and strong chakra (a trait from Indra, and its apparent with the scale of their jutsus. Tobirama was able to create huge water jutsus, without water nearby. Hashirama and his epic forest sizes).

Uzumaki posess a strong life force and strong physical energy. (chakra chains are a physical manifestation of energy)
Uchiha posses a strong chakras in their head which develop the eye into the sharingan, which utilizes their strong spiritual energy.
The Uzumaki clan better fits the Ashura's lineage than the Senju does.



Plus, In the latest chapter Ashura was depicted very similarly to Naruto's BM mode, were Kurama is covered in a dark pattern which is assumed to be because of the uzumaki seal. Does this mean that Ashura had utilized an uzumaki seal?

For the Hyuuga, who knows. If kaguya has it, maybe they came from a mixing of the two hagoromo brothers lineages.
