So, to confirm what we know, there was a women named Princess Kaguya Ōtsutsuk who was the first human to ever receive chakara after she ate the fruit of the Jubi. It is also confirmed that she had TWO sons Hagoromo and his brother. Nothing else is know about Hagoromo's brother besides that he helped Hagoromo defeat and seal the Jubi within Hagoromo.
This info helped me formulate this theory. So Hagoromo is the ancestor of all Senju and Uchiha nins. The Uzamaki clan and Hyuga clan are said to be distantly related to the Senju and Uchiha clans respectively. I assume that Hagoromo received the "better" genes from his mother and his ancestors came to be the more powerful clans, while his brother lead to the creation of the slightly lesser Uzamaki and Hyuga clans. Some strong "evidence" I have for this theory is that during the fight against the Jubi, Hagoromo's brother seal the Jubi in Hagoromo. To seal such an emmense creature and chakara takes serious skill in Fuinjutsu. The Uzamaki clansmen were specialists in Fuinjutsu, so much that their village was destrotyed out of fear in the 3rd Shinobi War. So because of this I believe that Hagoromo's brother is the ancestor of the Uzamaki clan. For the Hyuga clan, I have no strong proof, besides the fact that the Byankugan is said to be derived from the Sharigan. So, simply put, it is a lesser version of it. This could be proven true if it is indeed true that Hagoromo received the superior Duojutsu from his mother, while his brother got the lesser. Anyways, that's what I think of that. For the Hyuga clan, I have no strong proof, besides the fact that the Byankugan is said to be derived from the Sharigan. So, simply put, it is a lesser version of it. This could be proven true if it is indeed true that Hagoromo received the superior Duojutsu from his mother, while his brother got the lesser.

I don't think it was said that the byakugan was derived from the sharingan, rather Kaguya had both, the course of inheritance is still unknown, however we do know that by some form of mutation Hagoromo obtained the Renningan. -Well something like that anyway-

no. it isnt confirmed or anything. its likely though.

also, it was said the sharingan was a mutation of byakugan (somewhere in part 1) not the other way around. my guess is that kaguya already had byakugan , but couldnt use it without chakra, and she was able to first use it when she ate the fruit, rather than just getting byakugan out of nothing. it beats the alien theory at least.

670 on page 13 says sealed it inside of "...us." Hagoromo's brother has got it, too, and there is some lineage story Kishi is saving for later.

That was a translation error on viz (best translators) it says the juubi was only sealed inside Hagoromo.

I think it is safe to say that Hagoromo's bro is the ancestor of the Hyuga clan or the byakugan would never of existed in the current time of NV. Also the Uzumaki clan are similar to the Senju with their compatability to the rinnegan (Nagato) and their incredible life force and close relations. Knowing this they must have some sort of significance so they could really be the direct descendants of Hagoromo's brother.

I pretty much agree except with the byakugan being lesser than the sharingan. They both have useful abilities.

Hagoromo's brother being the Reaper is actually quite plausible though. The fact the the Reaper death Seal was created by the Uzumaki just helps my theory that the Uzumaki are descendants from Hagoromo's brother. Hagoromo's brother probably preformed some jutsu on himself that allowed him to become the Reaper. He then probably wrote how to preform the basics of Reaper Death Seal on a scroll for his ancestors to find and later develop.
