Many people seem to think depression is a joke or is like pouting.

But i think its like a disease that is fatal like aids or hiv.

just look at all the suicide deaths of celebs and so forth...

Depression is psychology and biology being out of sync with the norm. So maybe bit of both; it's a disease and a state of mind.

Depression is more like state mind that you are in if you had no feelings you wouldn't be depressed so it isn't a sickness it what mind set drift from what mainly suppose to accomplish.

depression is horrible... I remember wanting to die...im still alive.....i'll still die...stay alive people...

Depression is a mental disorder but it affects you physically as well. Most people go through periods of depression but it depends on the severity and how it affects the way you live. I wouldn't say depression is a disease but it does have strong links to suicide. And there is absolutely nothing funny about having depression.
