Except all the racists that were in the Democrat party migrated to the Republican party after FDR took over their party in the 30s. The left leaning people didn't want to be associated with the right wing so they shifted to FDR's party. Lincoln and MLK all had progressive, liberal ideas by the way. I did take a political class so i do know there are checks and balances and there are faults elsewhere but since he is also the head and is the commander in cheif he is reqired to also work with everyone not just his own party so his lack of beining able to get along with an opposining party does put him in a much worse stake then the rest if them

The most we can do is try and hold it together if i have to just to see progress and security and something done about this threat then im going with who ever is best reguardless of what faction they are which is what matters most then appeasing your faction cause at the end of the day we are apart of the same country
