Wherever there are differences there will always be prejudice and bias ness. That applies all over the world and for every type of government. Just be great-full you live in a country that will allow you to decide your own religion without any reprocussions and doesn't force a religion down your throat. .

Religion/church is one of their tools to stupify us, therefore they finance and promote it.

The question is, just how much oppression is going on via religious bias. If it is severe enough, removal may preferable.

Of course, it depends on which democratic country and which religions are hegemonic.

religion makes you believe , that outside force has influence or controll over persons life.

there are some analogs to it.

but democracy is not based on religion.


but could have a bias on some policy or set of laws that can mimic or make some acts of religion run in certain directions - that are operated within the religious doctrine.

we have to admit - that it's purely debatable if religion is needed in a democracy system or not.


It may work for some countries like Greece or Slovakkia.


But in countries like Finland , Estonia and Japan - the outcome is very different - and opposite to many other religious countries.

This is not necessarily the case.

It purely depends upon the structure of the state's Constitution and the willingness of the people to adhere to that Constitution.

The problem is when the government begins to over-run its Constitutionally established powers and special interest groups flock to government lobbies to ensure that their viewpoint is heard.

The government shouldn't have any role in healthcare. Therefor the issue of abortion is moot. Because we have allowed unconstitutional, treasonous behavior in our nation - we have people using religious arguments to try and see to it that things are done their way in the government. Any reasonable society would realize that it is dysfunctional to attempt to determine where life begins in the womb and apply that distinction through law. The only outcome of such practice is a revolt and collapse of the system.

But, we also allow people receiving government aid to vote. That is a direct conflict of interest and should never happen.

This is all, essentially, a postmortem on the U.S. - which is already a flaming train wreck screaming over a cliff. We're still convinced that zero-gravity is a magical power of the conductor and that the fire won't burn us. The ground at the end of our descent hasn't even entered into consideration.
