I just read chapter 580, and now I know why people love One Piece.

This arc was amazing from the beginning, you could literally feel Luffy's will to save Ace increasing with every panel.
Actually, I'm very glad that I got spoiled regarding Ace's death, if I wouldn't have been, I bet I could not stop crying. But even though I got spoiled, a few tears did come out of my eye... tbh. Ace was my favorite character until the end, but I guess it just had to happen. At least he'll "live on" in Luffy. But dem last words doe... :'(

About Whitebeard's death... wow, just wow. I simply can't find any words on how awesome of an character he was, doing everything to defend his beloved family/son's. How he stood there dying and remembering for what he was searching as a pirate just gave me goosebumps.
After I had recovered for a few panels, I think someone around my area was cutting some onions, because when Whitebeard died, the tears just wouldn't stop coming out of my eyes anymore. Now I am unable to listen to Drake anymore, because if I would, I'd probably drown.

I have never really hated any fictional character before, but now... hell don't get me started with Blackbeard.

I kinda like Akainu all in all that's why I can't hate him 100%, so I'll just call it "hate-love". (I don't really like him that much, but I love his power and yeah, at least it was his duty to do so and he's just disciplined.
But I can never forgive Blackbeard, I hope that he dies soon (I'm only on chapter 580, so please don't spoil).

So guys, I just had to let all of this out.

Yeah, both deaths were extremely sad. It's an amazing arc but not the best arc. It's ranked #2 on my top 10 OP arcs. For MF, I watched the arc instead of reading it when I was getting caught up and Ace/WB's VAs were amazing. The OST's they played made it that much better.

Although for the arc itself and any other arc, I always prefer the manga.

Not on the level of Water 7/Enies Lobby, but comes close and definitely over Dressrosa for me.
The feels were ****ing strong. As an Ace fan it was damn shock and i was like wtf did just happened.

I like Akainu as well, as I said. But you gotta look at it the other way.
Ace was hated for being the child of Gol D. Roger, it's not his fault. You can't choose your parents lol.

But yeah, I heard this Doflamingo is cool. Let's see. I already liked him in MF arc. Looks like he's using some strings.
