Do you guys agree or disagree....if someone makes a thread, and later realizes it's a load of crap..i think we should have the power to delete it ourselves, but, on the other hand, this cold cause chaos, and we won't be able to laugh at the big messup noobs make, do youagree or disagree?

no, there is a reason for you being unable to delete you threads
you mean in a good way but it could also be somehow abused plus you should think first before making a thread... if you post crap then its your prob and ppl will know that you are posting stupid things

I'm NOT for it though it could alleviate some of the mods duty to repeatedly check/trash/close silly and repeated threads.

Still, there's some downfall to it. It's a bit like the same like deleting your post. This is good as after we requested a spammer to delete his post in some thread but he barely do that and it's usually a mod that ends up doing the job. The same low efficiency will be the same if users were allowed to delete their own threads.

Also, it will cause havoc. That's why I'm against it. How? See all the deleted threads that have been trashed. Once it's done, admins/mods are questioned all over by users who ask why they lost Kumi/Post Count/Rep ect...
The same will occur if user delete their own thread by their own will. Agree that some threads deserve to be trash. But suppose, some user gave a proper lesson to that silly user and he got rep for it. It will be silly to delete the rep of that guy.
Moreover, some users may quickly delete some of their 'objectionable' threads to avoid infractions. This will lead inevitable to a huge decrease of infractions for trolls/noobs which I'm definitely not for.

What will be more acceptable is for users to CLOSE their own threads. U_U

frankly its best that we do not have the authority to do so.
because just like real life, people should think before they post something.
if we can practice thinking before speaking why not in the internet.
if someone posted something incompetent than it would be a lesson learned from them that they should consider the repercussions of their actions before they do it.

That's why mods exist... U_U

Also, that would leave opening for something else: no one should create a thread without having good reason for it and knowing that its being created in the proper section; by allowing the creators to delete threads when they wish, would mean too much freedom and people wouldn't understand the concept of posting correctly as they would simply be deleting and making new threads all the time.

Also, laugh at noobs? Are you allowed to do that? U_U
