therefore naruto is always the one who is superior in the beginning and needs to be chased by sasuke who eventually catches up with him....except at the beginning of the manga....

Actually Sasukes power up was about 100+ chapters ago. Naruto is the one catching up.

not always, sasuke is some times ahead and naruto needs to catch up and vice-versa.

Actually, it wasnt like that for long...

Sasuke was superior at first
Naruto catched up and surpassed him
Sasuke catched up and surpassed Naruto
Sasuke became even stronger at the start of part 2
Sasuke after Itachi was stronger until Naruto got full control of Sage mode
Sage mode Naruto surpassed Sasuke until Sasuke mastered his MS (Danzo fight) which imo gave the edge back to Sasuke
Naruto surpassed Sasuke
Sasuke just now catched up, and i believe they currently are equals.


Sasuke was, for a very long time, the one with the edge. He was stronger from the end of part 1 through a lot of a part 2 (Until Sage mode), so thats about 3 years Sasuke was vastly superior to Naruto
