Early Life
Deimos was born a few years after Kratos, and bore a remarkable birthmark across his body. The two brothers grew up together under the watchful eye of their mother Callisto in Kirigakure, with dreams of joining the Seven Swordsmen of the Mist when they were older. Kratos and Deimos trained with the traditional spear and shield throughout their childhood, with Kratos teaching the young Deimos to remember that "a ninja never lets his back hit the ground."
The Marked One Prophecy
Long ago, an Oracle foretold the destruction of the Juubi at the hands of a Marked Warrior. Due to his unusual birthmark, the Akatsuki feared that Deimos would be the prophesied warrior, so they devised a plan to abduct him from his family so that the Oracle's prophecy wouldn't come to pass.
One fateful day, Ares and Athena descended onto Konoha to take Deimos, unleashing an army of Centaurs to decimate the populace while they searched for him. They quickly found the young Deimos amidst the chaos and took him while he was training with Kratos, though his brother attempted to stop Ares. Kratos lunged at Ares to keep him from taking his brother but Ares struck him down, scarring him over his right eye. Ares then attempted to kill Kratos, but Athena quickly told him not to, as they already had what they where looking for. Ares then disappeared in a cloud of fire. Athena apologized to Kratos, then disappeared in a cloud of fire.
Ares brought Deimos to Thanatos in the Domain of Death to remain there in torment, ensuring the prophecy of "the Marked One" would never occur. For several years, Deimos believed Kratos would come to his rescue. As time passed, his hope began to fade, and was replaced with hatred for the brother who left him to rot. Many years has passed since Deimos was taken by the Akatsuki. Deimos' anger towards his brother grew and grew. It festered in his mind, soul and body. At every other attempt to escape, he had failed. The farthest he had gotten was out of the door. Athena took pity on him and released him from his chains. Deimos slowly rose from the dirt on the ground and look up at Athena. His body was covered is sweat, saliva, and dirt. The young man couldn't care less at this point. He limped his way to the exit of his holding place. Once he exited, the light blinded him as he had not seen the sun light in years. His face cringed at the sight of the light. just like a reflex, he hands shielded his eye. After a while, they adjusted. Deimos was now overlooking the village hidden in the Rain.
Deimos began to walk down he rock formation barefooted. On his way down, Deimos cut his feet on many rocks causing blood to me spewed out across the cliff side. Deimos walked up to the gates of Amegakure and as if cued a large sound of thunder came from the sky. It began to pour water in extreme amounts. He walked into the village and tried to find someone that could help him.
Deimos came across a devilish looking man. Someone who was more devilish looking than Hades himself. The man had pale skin, sharp teeth, red eyes and dressed all in red with a white ascot. The man moved towards Deimos and took note of the wounds on his feet and his evident dirtiness. The man clad in red took him to an inn and took care of him. Meanwhile, Deimos filled the man in on what happened to him and his hatred for his brother. The man revealed himself as Alucard. Alucard offered to help Deimos get revenge on his brother. Deimos was grateful then he began his rain training with Alucard.
After the completing the training Deimos left Ame and started to head towards Konohagakure so he can face his brother. On arrival to konohagakure, the village was decimated. Dead bodies filled the borderlands leaving the village in shambles. Deimos walked further into the village until he got to passed the gates. One the inside of the village. Carnage and blood painted the streets. With a few step into the village, a familiar body hugged the ground. It was the Hokage. If he had fallen, the village had fallen. If the village fell from its pedestal, Kratos was either dead or had fled the scene. Around the area, the body of a Iwagakure nin rested. The culprit of the destruction was revealed. Deimos searched the entire village and Kratos was no where to be found. In a fit of rage, Deimos let out a large roar of wind into the sky parting the clouds and causing a large thunderclap like sound. He marched towards the exit of Konoha. There was no destination for him. Where could Kratos be? It was obvious that he deserted the village. Deimos was getting impatient to say the least. There was one way to find his target quickly and that was to find the Akatsuki and join them. If they accepted him voluntarily or by force was up to them.
