Deidara's Current standings.

Okay! Like the name says what do you guys think of his standings in the Akatsuki and why?

Personally I think he would be in the top 5 if he played his cards right. He has every range of attack which is a huge advantage. Has a trump card that would clearly kill anyone. (But sasuke apparently.) He has awesome manevurability because he can fly. When he is fighting Sasuke you see how smart he is by teaching his eye to ignore genjutsu. The only down side to Deidara is his loud mouth and just how many explosives he prepares. Guarenteed if he didn't explain half the stuff he did he probably would be a lot better off. So any thoughts?

Yeah he would be in my top 5.

The only downside to deidara is probably his weird temper.

This guy made himself immune to genjutsu and has an attack which is not visible to the naked eye. And his last jutsu may kill him but it sure as hell will kill his opponent aswell xd

He can kill everyone in the akatsuki except Nagato,Tobi,Itachi,sasori

So in a way he is 5'ish
BUT that doesn't necessarily make him stronger than the others ,

Deidara is seriously underrated on these forums, People don't realize he was really YOUNG, 19 when he died... around 15 when he joined akatsuki....yet look how strong he was....creating jutsu like c4 karura that can kill just about anyone...I swear if he had gotten 20 more years or so, he'd > oonoki by far, he was supposed to succeed him as kage...

He was impervious to genjuts, ( normal ones at least, not mangekyou ) His feats for a kid are amazing, sasuke was his worst possible match..Not only having doujutsu to see his chakra, but lightning release to deactivate his bombs

Yeah! I would definately agree with you about being square in the middle. But why sasori? The fact that he had the iron using Kazekage puppet?

Yeah! I would definately agree with you about being square in the middle. But why sasori? The fact that he had the iron using Kazekage puppet?

All his bombs will just be blocked by iron sand walls, similar to what gaara did, His c4 won't do sasori anything, because sasori doesn't breathe, he has no lungs, no blood stream nothing, just a heart.....
