Deidara's arms - a plothole?

So we know that early on in Part II, Deidara lost his arms.

• One was crushed by Gaara's sand

• One was sniped off by Kakashi's kamui

But later, when Deidara was battling Sasuke, he had both arms (bottom panels)

It was also stated that Kakuzu stitched them back on

and confirmed when we see the stitches on Deidara's arms

So how did he get his arms back? We can speculate that Good Boy Tobi went into the Kamui dimension and retrieved the arm that Kakashi warped off. But what about the one Gaara crushed with sand coffin?

Some might say it's a Zetsu arm. But then we see that there are mouths on both of Deidara's hands, something a Zetsu arm doesn't have. "Well a White Zetsu probably transformed into Deidara, cut off his arm, and gave it to Deidara, after which Kakuzu stitched it on." No, because Deidara was using the mouths on both of his hands to create his clay bombs. While Zetsu can copy appearances and chakra, they don't gain the abilities of the shinobi they transformed from.

When Kakashi Kamui his arm he only took out this middle part of his arm. Deidara found his forearm later and Kakuzu reattached it using the arm of a corpse as a medium.

Not sure about the manga but in the anime didn't tobi say he found his arm and gave it back to him ?

Like someone previously said, Tobi found the arm that had been ripped off. Kakashi only Kamui'd part of his arm. So Kakuzu used a random dead arm I think for that, and I'm pretty sure his left arm was just another random arm.

becuz, Similar to Sasori, Hidan & Kakuzu, once it became a part of his body & chakra flow, his kinjutsu manifested or ''re-appeared''.
This logic must be applied since we don't know the nature of deidaras kinjutsu & it manifests itself physically, like most others do.
a kinjutsu is an outlier by definition & changes the nature of the body

The mouths are apart of the Iwagakure Kinjutsu not apart not deidara himself.

Obviously Obito retrieved one arm. But the other was obviously not just a random dead arm since yes, the mouths are a part of Deidara himself.

Good thread, could be dead arm from a corpse just like sum said above. Its just "a new right arm" from kakuzu. tobi gave him the rest of his left arm.
