I'm just gonna list some things down:

Hinata's Byakugan gives her team a massive advantage over Deidara's abilites, as we Saw Sasuke heavily rely on his Sharingan's ability to see chakra in his fight with Deidara, such as with the mines or C4 Karura.

Choji shouldn't have a problem with dealing with Deidara in the air, I'm pretty sure he could avoid/tank his attacks and Shino could send his bugs to do damage as well.

Shikamaru could possibily restrain Deidara and have Shino insert man-eating bugs into him.

I think Choji & Hinata would be the main players in this fight tbh, with SHino giving the final blow. Shika's kinda not really needed for the most part

it relies on if choji in BM mode can immediately knock deidara down, if yes they trap him.

Honestly, I think even choji alone could take it as long as c4 kakura is not used. But Hinata could worn them if it with her Byakugan
