I don't see Deidara avoiding 198 puppets at once. Not to mention Iron sand blocks nearly all of Deidara's arsenal and his main threat, C4 cannot work on Sasori.

Deidara has never fought a fight where he didn't get a scratch of damage, and a single scratch is all Sasori needs to land.

you may be onto something but for some reason i dont see sasori putting up a battle of the same level against taka sasuke than deidara, remember sasuke was pretty fast besides he absorbed orochimaru

Deidara also had assistance from Tobi. The mines Tobi planted were the main hindrance for Sasuke. Without Tobi's help, Deidara would have likely been taken out with an whole tier less of difficulty.

i think tobi was there as an expectator because he wanted to see sasuke´s deveopment and if he wanted to he could have won easily, but you do have a point saying tobi planted the landmines
