Ok i don't know much about Deidara, but here are some things, this is the range C2 mines effected:

It does not seem like a tech that can be avoided quickly with the speed Orochimaru have shown so far based on its AoE.

Also he has C1 bombs that he can blow up at the time he is willing to:

I know, biggest threat for Oro here is C3 due to massive range that is hard to evade and damage it causes, but i see C1 bombs can be used as diversions since despite the intelligent man Oro is, almost every fight he had been present he was rather being reckless and cocky.

I was initially a Rock Lee fanboy when I started Naruto in 2006, but he's character development disappeared. Gai is basically what Lee will become in the future, so it was inevitable.

We need more threads regarding Gai.

I am a Lee (and Gai) fan too, he is my top fave he should have been the one who punched out Kisame or atleast did something relevant in war arc like Gai it is weird how their importances shifted in part 2.

XD Yeah i am one of the few who actually cares about Lee.

I can work on a thread after finals / 2 weeks. Those 2 are generally seens as 2 dumbasses with "Hirudora gg" and nothing much more but they (atleast Gai) is decently versatile in taijutsu range.
