Well i think that if deidara is already on the bird by the time he throws the kunai then he has a fair chance to win .. He avoids the foodcart destroyer while on his bird .. although i think right from the start he would go higher then its range anyways

Except Deidara won't make it on the bird before the Kunai are thrown, its unrealistic to say tossing a few Kunai from a string is slower than making a giant clay bird, getting on it, and then flying up in the air.

No, Food Cart Destroyer is used via Summoning Jutsu, which instantaneously summons things, so Bunta will be summoned instantaneously above Deidara and his bird meaning he can't dodge it, meaning he gets squished. You can't dodge instant.

Also I dont see why Deidara cant start on his clay bird if Minato starts with his shurikans in hand ..Every battle deidara fought he started on his clay bird

Um, the Deidara vs Sasuke match disagrees. Not to mention that's prep. Minato doesn't even start with Shuriken in hand, he pulled those out of his bag if you look at the scan before.

Erm, not entirely true. Against Sasuke, he opted to use his bird due to his immense Shunshin. Before hand however, he was battling, while grounded. He tried to size Sasuke up with some C1, but he was too fast. It may be a little too late if trying such a trick against Minato.

Lmao, that? He can try that trick on Minato, but the Yellow flash is evading that all day long. After that, he proceeded to battle on the ground for a while. Why would he stay on his bird if he doesn't know what Minato's capable of?

Actually its the other way around .. He KNEW what sasuke was capable of him being Itachi's brother .. If he were facing an un-known opponent he would stay on the clay bird .. which is demonstrated in the kakshi+naruto "Fight"

If he knew what Sasuke was capable of, he wouldn't be all shocked and upset when Sasuke counters every attack Deidara puts forth, due to Sasuke having the favourable nature affinity. If he really knew Sasuke was the worst match up possible, don't you think he would of been a little more prepared? Lmao, he knew jack shit.

I didnt mean it like that .. i phrased it completely wrong my bad .. its not like he knew his whole arsenal he was simply underestimating him .. as you said he wanted to size him up with his c1 ..

Um bro your completely wrong about the Kakashi and naruto fight .. Shukaku was already sealed He did not need to transport gaara anywhere dont know where you got that from XD .. He only took gaara too lure Naruto Out ( Too lazy too get the scans atm) .. And even after he lured him out and the Bird containing gaara had served its purpose he still decided to remain on the bird

My bad man, I completely forgot. But the premise still stands, to lure Gaara he needed something to transport him with, and his clay bird was his best option. He never used the bird for offensive purposes, as you're trying to put forth, but as you corrected me on, he was just trying to lure the Konoha duo out of the way. Again, he never used it for offensive purposes, so that statement cant be used regarding this match up.

However im not stating he uses it (the bird itself) for offensive purposes im saying he simply stays on it because it increases his mobility and evasivnes/speed .. He still launched used bombs during that fight off the bird though

if Deidara starts on a bird then it woud be like Kakashi vs Deidara when they went to rescue the kazekage. Minato will be a very powerful version of Kakashi without a sharingan but with greater chakra,reflexes,power and intelligence!

Minato can speed blitz Deidara and he could use Summoning: Food Cart Destroyer to kill Deidara if he flies or uses Gamabunta who can jump really high to reach Deidara.
