Deidara could create clones from the clay and named Suicide Bombing Clones. He can ride the clay dragon an attack from above using bombs.
Guy cant fly but he fast an good at taijutsu.

Honesty deidera cant make clay stuff that fast, and if guy stays on tge offensive, deidera hands better be blocking and not trying to make clay or hes dead

I agree with the Guy posts, people tend to forget that Diedara was constantly having his butt handed to him. We've seen on various occasions that height is not much of an obstacle for neither Guy or Lee. Diedara's "art" takes too long to make. Someone as fast as guy wouldn't give him time to make explosives. And a lot of people act like Taijutsu is the only thing that Guy knows how to do. Even so explosives and a clay clone Diedara's only strength (I say that confidently because he went all out with Sasuke) and he wastes a lot of chakra on them (much like Tenten and her weapons hahahaha!! Useless...), once Guy closes that gap Diedara could be down for the count. AND if Guy switches to serious mode...game over

He's not a long-ranged fighter. But well seasoned fighters like Gai know their weaknesses/disadvantages and know how to get around it.
