I believe Kakuzu doesn't require oxygen and therefore does not breath U_U So i think He wins either way.

He uses the same handsigns that Deidara does for his Domu jutsu

It doesn't take a sharingan to figure out that the bombs are earth style, so his raiton basically diffuses all except C4, meanwhile he has other hearts to attack Deidara in the air at the same time he is diffusing Deidara's offense.

Not much Deidara can do here
