i know it's a very debatable fight, as Deidara has his way with long range skills and abilities
and Kakuzu would have many of his bombs pointless with steel skin.
in my opinion Deidara takes this

Kakuzu doesn't need his hearts roaming around since Deidara can't break his defense. He could just use his air heart to make it (semi)2v1 scenario.

Kakuzu wins without breaking a sweat, he's one of the strongest akatsuki and his elemental masks gives him a huge advantage.

Kakuzu can't fly. And if Deidara kills the lightning heart Kakuzu is basically dead.

Who cares? Kakuzu would just grab his neck with Jiongu and smash him to the ground then he would use his elemental masks to finish him off.
In the end Kakuzu wins with low diff.

Kakuzu takes this. Every part of Deidara's arsenal has a necessary flaw exploitable by Kakuzu, not to mention the fragility of Deidara's own flight. Its fully in his capacity to turn this into a fight on the ground.
