Hidan can only win this when Deidara is still on the ground. Still, considering how fast Deidara is making his clay birds and clay clones I doubt that Hidan will manage to do that. When Deidara is in the air its a rape, Hidan actually dies becuase of C4, but even C2 would blow him to pieces and make unable to fight.

hidan cant do anything here. deidaras a long range fighter who has clay clone feints and earth release on top of his explosion style. hidans a one trick pony. if taijutsu was enough to defeat him hed be dead vs naruto
