Deidora would win a lot easier than he did in the manga.
Firstly in the manga gaara had the location advantage, desert. In this senario its neutral.
Deidora has a lot more clay now

I like Garaa alot more so I think Ii will have to say Gaara. His sand is way faster than what it was, Deidara wouldn't be able to avoid it at all.
