Deidara vs Darui (Debate)

Deidara vs Darui and Sai

We all know that these two's styles compliment each other perfectly, so well that it would make a good match to see how this would go down.

Restrictions: C4 and C0 if necessary
Location: Sasuke vs Deidara
Knowledge: None other than Raiton > Doton (common knowledge)
Distance: Medium Range


How would this battle go down ?

Lol we're working on reviving the VS section to get good members back in here, this was bait to lure you in xd.

Why would Darui win this match ?

Hmm, Darui is close-mid range and Deidara long range...

By common logic he will be able to deactivate every of his techniques but the problem is if he will be able to get past the nano bombs...

deidara seals are very fast and not many people notice them kida like kakuzu, i really dont think darui can pick that up as early as needed, once deidara uses c3 darui has no defence. a water wall? and i dont think he is as smart as sasuke to defuse the bombs

Deidara's a rather tricky opponent. I've even seen people call him stupid, and I always wonder how they came to that conclusion.

He has a pretty good resume: dueling the Kazekage without the use of C4, escaping Naruto and Team Guy twice with no arms, using bushin feints and evasion speed to keep away from Sasuke.. he's good at escaping the enemy's scope if he's not cocky (like he was as an Edo).

I can see a good laser circus vs. clay bird aerial battle going on here, but I don't think the lasers can actually hit him despite their nice angle turns. Being able to hide underground only adds to his power... he has both the sky and solid ground as extra space to fight. Darui's pretty skilled though, so I'd say that he can overcome most C1 bombs and survive for a while against a C2 onslaught. The problem would be attacking Deidara - but having lasers could easily catch Deidara off guard depending on the situation.

Still, Deidara wins IMO maybe i should write a small fanfic of it >.>

A very nice analysis Draken, he is underrated when it comes to his intelligence. Some people used their argument on my Deidara vs Sasori that he's not smart enough to fight Sasori :rofl:

This seems to be a clear stomp, i'm editing the OP to add someone to Darui

At first glance my instincts tell me Deidara wins this. His amount of clay animals and their sizes would be too much for Darui to handle. If Darui can somehow get close to him it's game over but Deidara will probably fly up high and just get out of his range. He wouldn't be able to see everything (like the microscopic bombs) like Sasuke could. I think Deidara being able to fly is the kicker.

Edit: Oh gosh you added Sai. Hmmmm, Sai could give just enough distraction and the ability to close the distance in order to let Darui use his techniques to dominate Deidara. His microscopic bombs are still a major major problem.

Basically this is Deidara vs Sasuke except Darui and Sai don't have the sharingan or massive summons to block themselves from C4. I mean if Darui's chakra is high enough to keep using his lightning techniques then sure they would win. It just depends on how the battle starts ya know?

Darui would win cuz as u said Lighting Style > Earth Style. Not to mention Darui's deadly combo of Water and Lighting plus Gale style AND Black Lighting. And what does Deidara have? Explosive Playdoh

Don't forget that Deidara can make human sized C4 clones. His clay bushin tricked Sasuke before I believe...

I don't think Darui is as good as 3T Sasuke was, and especially without Manda, the best he can manage is a draw. If not, I see Deidara winning high diff, only high diff because Darui's elemental.
