Intent: To kill for Deidara; to incapacitate for Itachi but if push comes to shove, to kill.
Intel: Itachi doesn't know about C4, aside from that, full.

Itachi can't win this, 3T's most devastating ability is genjutsu but with Deidara's left eye, all genjutsu is null. C2 or at the very worst C4 wins this.

That's what I'm thinking. However I was also thinking Itachi could incorporate Kage Bunshins and Exploding Kage Bunshins, along with his agility and reflexes, into this fight to gain ground. Though yeah, I think Deidara comes out on top.
I also thought 3-T Sasuke would come out on top against Sasori but a couple arguments were made.

Technically, seeing as Deidara doesn't start with his left eye released and the distance is Sasuke v. Deidara, Itachi could blitz. A paralysis genjutsu to restrict Deidara's movements and then a quick Katon capable of tearing through the ground or even just a kunai to the head ends Deidara.

Make the distance wider if you want Deidara to survive. Yeah, no. Itachi wins with the conditions as is.

So when do you think he clone feinted .-. He doesn't even have to part his hair if the eye piece is there...That doesn't even make sense as the genjutsu was already finished when his eye supposedly "changed" he clearly saw through it right from the start, its not even a technique its just an ability the eye has, and seeing as the paralysis jutsu isn't one that hides it being a genjutsu Deidara will break out of it right when its cast Lol. He'd have clay ready to halt an incoming blitz as well.
