But Deidara is the most underrated character I ever saw.

Lets be honest his concept is one of the more out there and interesting ones but in battle once he taps out of clay to mould, and or pre made bombs hes got nothing left. His taijutsu is laughable so someone like low level like rock lee or negi could beat him.

What manga are you reading? He fought off neij,lee,gai and tenten with a blade in his mouth. Get real and reread

Agreed - I wished Kishi and the animators use him more often. Every time Deidara becomes reanimated (like in the Chikara arc or the current war), his abilities aren't used to its full potential and that is why he is underrated. For example, you often see Deidara using small detonating clay rather than one gigantic clay that can cause much more damage. He can just repeatedly send clay creatures to his enemy but he doesn’t, and it does seem like he spend too much time travelling on his bird.

Geez, just let Deidara see more of his artwork please.

He could be one overpowered guy if he lived to his 30, I can tell you that. One of the very few characters who were Kage level before their twenties. Great tactician on top of that.

Every character is underrated and overrated.His moves are impressive but lacks any counters against a good raton user.

He's been overrated once, people thought he could defeat KB even with his Full BM.

You really believe that guy like Hidan is stronger than him? IMO hes middle tier Akatsuki, along with Sasori, Kakuzu and Kisame.

Rock Lee and Neji are not low level taijutsu users...
And if they ever fight to Deidara; he would not even let them get close to him.

Deidara is a pretty strong shinobi but I don't think he really is THAT under rated.

he was also one of the few clutch Akatsuki members that carried out their assigned task like they were supposed to. I very much doubt that immunity or resistance includes the more advanced genjutsu like Tsukyomi, Koto, Izanami, & MT though.

Hidan can be more dangerous than Deidara under certain circumstances for sure. But in general I'd rank Deidara above Hidan (just has way more in his arsenal) but below the other three.
