He is probably the shinobi who has the most raw power in this manga(i don't count Tailed beast). He can destroy a village single handely with C3 for example. With C4, if you are not a sensor or have a dojutsu, it's almost impossible to detect and escape unless you already know the jutsu

He is one of the rare shinobi who can fly. So he is really difficult to fight or even catch

He defeated Sanbi for example only with one explosive clay when others only difficultly manage to survive(if they survive) against them.

And to think he was young when he died(18-19years old i think). His potential was really screwed and even when he was revived by Kabuto, Kishimoto didn't wanted to use his terrible power.

If it wasn't for his scenario, i believe thanks to Edo tensei, Deidara could have possibly be the deadliess Edo ever created. With his C0 he could explode continously and seeing how powerful just one C0 is, i don't see how the joint army could have done against that.

Deidara had the most potential I'd ever seen.. He was only 19 and developed a technique like c4.. which could already defeat most ninja..
He was no where near his prime.. he was a teenager..

If he had 30 more years or something, Hmmph, onooki and other kage would be nothing to him

Unfortunately But i think he was too young at that time(maybe 13 or 14), and his opponent was Itachi. Not even Orochimaru had a chancexd
But what proves his genius is that after his defeat, he developed his own way to fight against genjutsus. Not even experienced ninjas like Orochimaru did that

Not only that but he developed his eye so genjutsu wouldn't affect it. Pretty amazing. Unfortunately everything he did was doton, since there are so many lightning element ninja in the series.
