Thanks man! That's a nice sig you have there bro...
Thank You!Awesome plus rep
I'll just go over the basis of sigs and compare them with your sig
O_@
Render placing/choosing/what not: ok
Background: fair
Lighting: no lighting
Blending: sig not blended at all
Depth: O_< I don't see any
Text and border(though not necessary): absent
Flow: ...
Effects:___
Adjustments: I don't see any
etc......................
from that analysis, I rate this sig 2/10(maybe I was too strickO_O) anyway, get to know your way around Ps/Gimp?whatever it is you're usingxd then look for sig tutorials to help you. Good lucko_o

O_<the....render?A 2/10...you couldn't find one thing you liked about it?
Huh, so you're CnC'ing long.. . . .
Mate, you have alot to improve here. Infact nothing could be worse, what did you really do? Put a render ontop a bg. Also i want to help you so here's what i think you should do instead of endlessly posting alot of crap in the Design Hall without improving a bit. It's about improval, and you don't improve from work to work. Anyway, let me tell you what you need to do lad.
1. Seriously, MORE EFFECTS. If you don't know any more effects than you show(wich i obviously think you don't) look up tutorials on how to improve your work even further. I will provide links in the end of my CnC.
Download some brushes, C4D packs(wich can be found on nb, at the request GFX section. A sticky thread saying "GFX Material").
Learn how to use more tools, like sharpen/blur/burn/dodge etc.
2. Lightning. Pretty easy i must say. Just put a bright big brush, with soft edges. Copy that brush into two layers, one on soft light setting, and the other on linear colour dodge.
Lightning is an excellent way of making your render/focal blend in with the rest of the tag, also your text. It makes it feel like they're really there, and not just glued on to the main background. There's also great tutorials for lightning.
3. Depth, very easy aswell. Well i use a lil advanced tricks in my sigs/avy's but just use your sharpen/blur tools and you'll be fine. Learn those two first, and blur out the background and keep the render/focal as sharp as possible, but without making it crisp as a pack of salt.
4. Colour/Contrast/Dodging/Burning. Hard part. Making colours match is tricky, so use colour tools to make the colours from say the main bg and your render/focal match together much better. The lightsource will also fix your colours well, but sometimes it's just not enough. So you have to dodge/burn some parts. You most likely dodge your focal and burn it's surroundings.
5. Text. Trickiest part, imo. You want your text/logo to be very close to your focal, so it doesn't create a focal itself. Match colours, have something interesting to type in, use of typographics and colours are important to make this work. It's very hard, so in your case go easy on that at the start.
What program do you use? GIMP/Photoshop?

By all means, i don't use GIMP. I prefer Photoshop by far, i suggest you get that instead. Goodluck.

Another great sig made by you![]()
Oh I wasn't saying you did i was talking about that other guy/or girl haha and thanks i'll be sure to watch them, my next sig will hopefully amaze a lot of people![]()
That's why i want the rookies to improve. It's worth putting an effort trying to get them to rise. . .
Its good but you should work on the text more >__>
