Actully because of that, they can pull of an extremely deadly combo:

Looks like people don't realize how deadly Kisame and Deidara are as a Duo. (¬‿¬) Simple. All they have to do is take flight on Deidara's C1 Bird and then Kisame will drop his massive Suiton from above. Once that happens, the Sannin will be underwater and all Deidara needs to do is drop a bomb which when explodes will create a pressure that will travel throught the water and hit Kabuto, affecting all of his organs and killing him instantly. (¬‿¬)

Since Deidara was able to throw up a bunch of clay out of his mouth, without gravity weighting him down, that could also apply to Kisame throwing up massive water.
