Danzo never showed this speed throughout the whole fight until he regained control over Shisui's eye. This leads me to conclude that this specific type of shunshin is an ability granted by Shisui's Mangekyou.

You think that was just sharingan precog? Look at the scan again, sharingan precog doesn't increase foot speed, yet Sasuke was literally right on Danzo and in the next second Danzo was ten feet behind Sasuke and had kidnapped Karin before he even realized what had happened. If it was just regular sharingan precog, Sasuke would have read Danzo's movements with his own sharingan and easily countered. This type of shunshin is a technique granted by Shisui's Mangekyou just like teleportation is an ability granted by Sasuke's Rinnegan.

In the end, it doesn't matter if it's an ability of Shisui's or not. No matter how you look at it, it's a very impressive speed feat from Danzo and you shouldn't try to downplay it. He's obviously the fastest person in this matchup.
