Define 'Solo'

I guess many people have a different view of the term soloing...what the hell is soloing anyway. maybe i am the one thats wrong. I say its fighting with no outside help other than your own.

Summoning jutsu in my eyes are not soloing. Not saying its cheap but i say its just not soloing. If there is a need to summon any outside party for you to win you did not solo. thats just my view

Shadow clone usage to me is still soloing because you have to divide one whole.

If i take 2 whole pizzas. same size of coarse. one i dont cut the other one i cut into 8 slices. are the pizzas still the same size? YES as a whole they are

8/8 and 1/1 still the same thing. no matter how many slices there are, its still the same ammont in question so in my eyes shadow clones are still 1v1. because the clones are significantly weaker due to chakra division. its not like its 8 ful versons of naruto, then the shadow clone technique would not be the same as soloing in my opinion. i dont know thats how i think i guess you tell me how you view the term soloing


If Bee is fighting and A shows up and they double lariat Kisame, Bee did not solo Kisame.

I would say using summoning is still soloing, because that's still part of a character's skill set. No outside help from other characters though.

When one uses their own techs to battle another who is also using their own techs regardless of numbers as long as its the individuals tech. so things like clones summoning and edos are allowed.

Summoning takes a lot of chakra and its incredibly difficult to master. Those who have invested their time in training to learn to do it and who are willing to sacrifice lots of chakra to use it should be allowed to have their summoning counted to their power.

Though I agree that using summons wouldn't be considered " solo ".
But hey, it's part of their power so it would only be fair.
Unless of course, it's restricted beforehand.

Solo is you and your jutsu. If it aint just you and your jutsu it aint a solo. Which is why tailed beast host I do not consider soloing because those are beings inside you giving you their power.

I consider Edo solo because it is a jutsu.

Soloing simply means taking the fight alone. Whether it's a summon or a Kage Bunshin doing the work doesn't matter because both are considered to be part of a character's skill-set.
