Define a HERO

What is your definition of a HERO? What qualities do you think make someone a hero? Do any of the characters created by Kishi come across as a hero even if they are not the main character??

HERO of a person or a HERO of a nation
is one who is not afraid to give up his life for the person/nation

A hero is someone that can risk his(hers) life for the sake of something or save or even any kind of impossible action that a normal person wouldn't do. Certain people have across this already with only been supporting characters like Garaa, 3rd and 4th Hokages, their could be more but I can only remember this certain people not counting Naruto because he's the main character and you say no.
