Fair point but his only power up was from Oro's cursed mark, the other was Itachi's eyes and i dont think that counts since he killed him and all (well he helped kill him) the desease killed him

Yeah, Itachi was already weakened when he fought Sasuke that time, plus he was diseased, and he did want Sasuke to win. On the other hand, when Madara fought Hashirama, the situation was not the same. Madara lost, but, to quote the NarutoWiki:

"In spite of this, Madara was able to survive the battle and go into hiding. He then used Hashirama's DNA, which he had acquired on the battlefield, and transplanted it into his wounds."

That is a legit thing, he strategically survived and got that DNA from Hashi to further his own cause, which is different than Sasuke getting eyes from Itachi. In my opinion at least.

Your reasonably new so I understand where your coming from but -
1. All of this has been said hundreds of times before
2. People will continue to hate on him regardless of how people defend him

I'm not trying to be rude or anything it's just the honest truth here on the base. Sasuke is and will continue to be a polarising character. Some people like him for his 'cool guy' attitude and jutsu, others think his childish, boring and arrogant. It's a matter of opinion and no ones is more valid then anyone elses.

The one thing you should take out of it is that Kishi obviously can make excellent characters, since people invest emotion (positive and negative) into sasuke's character. That's pretty cool at the end of the day......

I only hate his fanboys. Sasuke is an interesting addition to the story, he gives the main character an opposite and I always saw him as the other side of the coin.

While Naruto recieves the respect of the Five Kages and the disdain of Oro and Obito (they just wanted to kill him however Obito may just be jealous of Naruto),

Sasuke on the other hand is just viewed as a criminal, while Oro and Obito want him on their side.
