You still butt-hurt from before? It seems like it as you sent me the exact same thing on my VM. Seems like you want attention more than I do.

Raping is easy to do.

I dropped my phone she caught it, i call that btch my screen saver -Lil wayne

now my style.

that btch sucking my horn.
ima watch Tv with popcorn

rhyming simple one and two syllable words may be easy..but actually rapping good is not easy.

There are many things that goes into creating a good rap but these rap haters seem to look over it.

word play, metaphors/simile, parallelism, muti syllable rhyming, schemes, structure, flow, delivery, internal rhymes...etc...

now try to incorporate all that shit into a rap...and be consistent with it...Some rappers (95+%) find it hard to put this all into just one song, So imagine the lyrical effort it takes to make an entire"good" rap album..

To be actually good at it takes years of practice...I wasn't rapping at the level I am rapping today back when I first started rapping. It's a process to become a better rapper and even today I'm learning new things about rap and how to improve my raps..soooo RAPPING IS NOT EASY!

Try rapping at this caliber then. Rapping may be easy but mastering it is difficult. Eminem had to practice a lot and even when as far as reading the dictionary.

I like music.

Rap is not music.

When rap is included in the middle of a song ... I tolerate it. Still not my favorite.

Jesus people like this piss me off. Seriously? How can you say rap isn't music? There's so many meaningful rap songs out there, people like you just listen to the bullshit the media spoon feeds you through the radio and TV and accept it. Stop listening to just commercial rap and thinking that's the entire genre.

1. Real
2. Sing About Me
3. No Make-Up
4. Stan
5. Breakdown
6. Daddy's Little Girl
7. Mockingbird
8. Hailie's Song
9. Hey Mama
10. Nickles and Dimes
11. Dollar and a Dream
12. Let Nas Down
13. Miss America
14. Keisha's Song

That's just 14 rap songs that would make ANYTHING you make look like utter shit.

Really? Who the hell has to defend rap/hiphop? It's one of the most popular styles of music. For some people, it's just not their cup of tea. For others, they try to be all fancy and like "This is not music because blah blah blah." Just ignore the latter. No need to defend one of the most popular styles of music and also, no need to just bash things and me mindless.

You're clearly mad. You're ignoring the facts which is the sign of defeat.

How can rap be overrated? Because some of us love it? Music is subjective, you can't just call an entire genre overrated.

Music isn't always subjective lol. Most people like rap because of perception of listening to it makes them feel "cool." It's not much of a opinion if your belief is influenced by popularity. It's still a opinion/belief but a bad one. What good do you gain from accepting beliefs that's not yours? None. (I could of be wrong that most people actually listen to it for the deeper meaning and not that the beat/rhythm makes them fit in with a certain/sounds cool.

How does this make rap overrated? This applies to ALL genres.
