I've noticed in recent threads that many people associate Uchihas with being "edgy", "emo" and just overall grumpy all the time. However, if you really look at the main Uchihas that we've seen, you'll notice that even they weren't truly the emo "edge-lords" that people seem to think that Uchihas have to be. Let's analyze:
Sasuke: In all of the flash backs we see of kid Sasuke (before the Uchiha massacre), Sasuke was shown to be an innocent and nice boy who looked up to his brother and wanted to join the police force. He wasn't at all shown to be "edgy" until his clan got killed. Then he understandably became vengeful.
Itachi: I'll admit that I didn't actually read Itachi Shinden. I just watched the filler about Itachi. However, from what I've seen of kid Itachi, he didn't seem like the emo arrogant type that is so commonly associated with Uchihas. He seemed inquisitive and introverted (mainly due to what he saw during the 3rd war). However, it was in no way the same arrogant prick archetype that is associated with Uchihas by fans. Like Sasuke, it was only after he was forced to kill the clan that he became dark and solemn.
Obito: Obito was most certainly not dark or emo until Rin died. He smiled and happily proclaimed his dream of becoming hokage. He always helped old people, and brought flowers for Rin. He never settled for abandoning a comrade and he was just overall a golden soul. It was Rin's death and Madara's manipulation that changed him.
Madara: Even Madara wasn't edgy! As a kid he and Hashirama enthusiastically shared their dreams, sparred, skipped rocks, etc... Madara even cracked jokes such as the one about people standing behind him or the one about the name "hokage" sounding stupid. All Madara wanted to do was protect his brothers and his clan. He even wanted to end the warring. It was the likes of Tobirama and the shinobi world in general that made Madara come to hate the shinobi world. At the root though, Madara wasn't that edgy punk that people make Uchihas out to be.
In summation, I think that many people falsely stereotype Uchihas when they say that Uchihas should be "edgy, cool, emo, etc...". None of the main Uchihas (who people base these qualities on) actually truly fell into those categories. Circumstances are what made them the way they were. It is not some intrinsic part of Uchiha nature.
That is why I think people should stop associating Uchihas with an edgy or hateful nature, and just look at people as individuals. You don't have to be edgy to be Uchiha.
