Debate: Is prime/healthy Nagato on the same level as Hashirama and EMS Madara?

Okay, so we know that due to sickness and a lack of mobility, Nagato wasn't as effective as he had wished to be towards the latter part of Akatsuki's plan.

My question is, with all the techniques and power Nagato exhibited (including 6POP, pre modern akatsuki and as an Edo), would he be equal to Hashirama and EMS Madara had he not had those restrictions on himself? I'm talking about a fully healthy Nagato, with a strong body and able to use all 6 paths by himself.

I personally think yes, what are your views?

Edit: I guess I wasn't fully clear to some. When I say prime/healthy. I'm not referring to Nagato at a specific time in the actual manga, but a hypothetical Nagato who is fully mobile/healthy and can perform all 6 paths by himself.

I have to agree with this, I was reluctant to say so in the original post in case I came across far too biased. But I think he'd have an advantage against them.

@OT question: Yes. I mean, the guy had massive chakra levels and could also change the very landscape itself. Not to mention he had both range and close quarters combat mastery. I would go on to say that he would perhaps be beyond their levels.

EDIT: What justu do they have that could possibly defeat him? PS is ninjutsu, preta path absorbs its slash. Wood Dragon or any wood techs can be deflected by ST. Hashi would be the only one between the two able to withstand CT (hypothetically).

Even if they ARE close, he could still ST them away and get the range he needs. Plus if he got a hold of either one, he would just drain them of their chakra, further empowering himself.

Prime/healthy Nagato aren't necessarily the same.

But if you're asking in regards to walking, then I'd say yes.

There was Nagato as an inexperienced Rinnigan user. Who blacked out whenever he used its power, and then there was the Nagato who was crippled by the Mazo after finally controlling its power. So "Prime Nagato" would be the Nagato that was inexperienced with Rinnigan, who was ambushed by Hanzo and Danzo, no way does he equal Hashirama's powers.

I say he could easily have given them a run....Preta path and Shinra tensei provide wonderful defense with the Asura Paths destruction not to mention around 5-6 summons...he gets a hand on them he can soul snatch...were he using the paths of pain he could even use Naraka path effectively. OT maybee to save any of the summons that might get killed

If he was fully mobile with mastery of the rinnegan techs then yes I'd say he is at least on their level, if not able to beat them.

As an uzumaki Nagato was perfectly suited for the Rinnegan because of his huge chakra levels. I don't think there's many who could use it better than him.
