Debate: Hinata or Hanabi as Hyuga Clan Leader

IMO Hanabi is now is the upcoming Hyuga clan leader mainly because Hinata is the second only after Naruto in Konoha. But Hanabi lack of power to protect Hyuga because she is not the real heir of the Hyuga or even special power to control the clan like Hinata have.

Hinata (destiny/fate)

The true heir of the clan but fodder grandfather refuse
Directly communicate with Hamura and gain Hamura power.
Renowned as Princess of Byakugan (Her eyes extend as far as 1000km)
Kidnapped three time for her special reason
Destiny to Married 7th Hokage the strongest living Shinobi
Hinata is a obviously lady, princess or queen material
Have special chakura and jutsu developed herself.
Heroin two time for Konoha save Naruto in Pein Arc and fight with Naruto in The Last Movie

Hanabi (chance)

Second choice after Hinata is too soft
Everyone mistaken her after failed to get Hinata
Trained hard to be like Hinata
her eyes awakes as Tenseigan but Hinata purposely destroy it.
She is alignment with nobody big or special other then Hiashi, Grandfather.

Hinabi was chosen to be the successor because she had what it takes where Hinata did not. Now that the war has happened and Hinata has begun to come into her own (not sure if she gets a powerup in the movie or anything like that) maybe this will change.

She is the wife of the 7th Hokage so this may keep her from becoming clan leader ( i don't know the Hyuuga policy on one of their main branches marrying the Hokage but doubt they any issue with it.)

Who I think is more fit to be Hyuuga clan leader? Probably Hanabi.

Hinata's priorities seem to lie elsewhere. She did not really seem at all concerned with becoming the head of the Hyuuga.

She showed potential to beat Hinata despite being younger than her and its HER eyes which Toneri uses for the Tenseigan so either way she is still more suitable

Yup but she is not strong as Hinata, she trained to be like her so badly. Her father and grandfather surprise with Hinata improvement even they even believe she in on par with Neji. I dont think Hanabi is closer to this

I might be wrong.

Hinata went to the academy because she wasn't strong willed enough to lead her entire clan, therefore she had to become a shinobi.

The Hyuuga clan itself put it's priorities first before the Village. That's probably why most of the Hyuuga clan members we have seen are Hyuuga first and shinobi last. You would only see a FEW Hyuuga clan members who are shinobi because they probably don't need ALL the proper training.

For example Hinata/Hanabi were worked on at such a young age because they have to protect the clan, meaning they also have to the be the strongest in the entire clan.

That's my theory though.
