That's so cute, the fact that you looked through a dictionary to find out what the definition of war is lol OMG I AM LITERALLY LAUGHING SO MUCH RIGHT NOW!!

Please tell me how a group of intellects who never saw a day of war, define one? The war you're referring to is just a literary term used for literary purposes. If you want to know the nature of war (which is the true definition of war) then look up some poems by Siegfried Sassoon or better yet...

Look at this picture which is the usual outcome to war...

What idiots like you don't even realize is many shinobi have died. Just because they weren't main characters don't mean shit.

War is when both sides have an equal chance of winning, genocide is much worse you're trying to destroy a country or clan from the face of the earth. I agree with twisted007 Kishi doesnt understand what war is the only mistake he made was the shinobi alliance and no one attacking their villages.

You can't really pair the two together, genocide is the result of conflict. The way you described genocide is almost like a process, but it's not a process, it's a result. War is a process itself which can lead to genocide depending on the motive of the war. If the war was against a clan and say the clan was destroyed, the outcome would be genocide.

Wait? You were just stressing your point that "no where does it say war needs death" (excuse my paraphrasing) and now you're supporting the fact that there have been deaths? In this war you mean?

MAKE UP YOUR MIND!! You don't have a valid argument here, in fact, we both have mutual agreements (which I only JUST found out!).

There was none, failed comment since the mutual basis of war and genocide is death lol.

And war is the process which generally leads to genocide, so that comment you were replying to was a major fail.

Hah, someone's mad that I'm right. (;

Hey, we're at war now. You and I. I declare war on you. Let's see how much deaths are in this war, yeah.

What? All I said was a war doesn't have to have deaths, but like it or not, deaths have happened. Many deaths happened, from the Zetsu, Gedo and the Shinju.

If you compare to what we have read or seen in the previous Shinobi war or real life, this isn't.

We're at war? Just you and me?

That's a pretty lame war lol. It's more like an argument with someone who can't make up their mind about their definition of war.
It's okay though, ignorance is bliss from a sociological point of view. By that I mean the fact that you don't know much is probably a good thing :)

That not war that's a battle, war is when two or more nations fight each other to reach their goals

You refer to war like it's a conflict of any sort, but it's not. If you and I are arguing, that's called an argument. The cold war is an exception due to the fact that it was a war between nations deciding on who would be the global super power (in fact it shouldn't have been considered a war, but since there was a death toll due to espionage, it was labelled a cold war).

We are not at war, we are just arguing, or maybe just talking to each other. I really don't see the conflict here :/

Yeah, she's really confused dude. I give up on her.

I'm just assuming she's a girl due to the amount of pink and feminism in that avatar. I could be wrong lol

You know the most funniest part of all these complains? That it comes from 13-18 years kids who just makeup their mind on how a war is,never did they actually saw it themselves, though and thinks that an adult, far more experienced than them, wouldn't know what a war means, when he grew up listening the stories of WW2 from his grandfather.

Like seriously Get a life. There are more than 60000 shinobis dead in number. Just because kishi doesn't kill main characters doesn't mean shit. He already killed many-many main characters in the entire show and gave them such a emotional death,a legacy that started from Haku & Zabuza. And people talk about AOT, well mark my words there won't be many main deaths from now on. Hell tell me some important char. that died even in AOT,5-9 I guess.
