He rubbed his chin, thinking over her last question

"I did in fact spend an extended period of time on the mortal plain. That could have something to do with my current appearance, but-"

As he was about to continue, he cut himself off and sharply shifted his head to the left as if he had heard some sound audible only to him.

"Speaking of which, I have some business to attend to down on Earth. Bye, child."

His face suddenly became grim and serious as he drew his signature scythe and vanished in a swirl of black fog.

So you don't require THE shinigami. just a specific one. that can easily be obtained without the need to wake any of them up or open the realm again.

There is no aim to. You just haven't expressed a very good case as to why an agreement that was made with Death is required to be broken.
