Pain laughs. "so you can see souls?" he pulls out a rock. "this is called the heart of the shinigami... it allows me to do this..." he grips the rock and a red aura surrounds him, the aura then instantly becomes blinding, as it fades a new body stands there. "My name is Ryun..." Everything about this body is different, his voice, he emits a darker aura as well.

*the shadow appears to inspect him for a few moments before writing* so you're the other soul...

...*the shadow turns, taking a while to write* Emotion is a subjective, concious experience, influenced by biological reactions such as those between hormones and neurotransmitters...which I do not possess. *waiting for the information to fade before continuing to write. The 'shinigami king' is part human?

Placebo! *a large cold shout is heard down the hall, the black cloaked skeleton heading towards them, her usual blue, star-like eyes as deep red* Placebo. *the figure seems to completely ignore Ryun's presence to talk to the shadow on the wall* is it true? people have been dying prematurely?! you're supposed to be monit... *suddenly noticing the others presence, quells her anger to a whisper* go check your systems and sort this or I will. *turning back to Ryun as the shadow dissipates, the skeleton turns to face him, tone still dark but appearing lighter, eyes returned to their usual blue* haven't seen you out in a little while Ryun. *if she had a face should would be forcing a smile like nothing happened*

*the shadow nods in reply, then stops and turns to write* but I can only see one in that body...although..another appears to be in your pocket...which is odd.
