takuto breaks his focus to quickly throw a kunai above tosen. as soon as one of the waves appears to hit takuto, he dissappears into his dimension, from tosen's point of view it looks like takuto was destroyed by the waves.

when the kunai passes tosen a portal opens up. the time in takuto's dimension act differently than in this dimension so by the time the portal opened up, takuto quick steps out of the portal with a golden sword and quickly slashing at tosen, giving him little time to react. "Shinigami art: Holy sword of exorcism: Excalibur!" his sword gains a golden aura and using all his force he stabs tosen through the back, through his chest.
