"I'm Robin. As for what I'm doing here, it's weird. I swear that I went to inspect a 'haunted mansion' and now I'm god knows where and with no memory of how I went from the middle of class to this...place."
Could you even really label this place? It was an obelisk of madness, a work of art so twisted and warped that any attempt to unravel it's secrets would surely be met with confusion.
"Robin is your name... hm. I'm Nicholas. Let's try and make some sense of this madness..."
The first thing she sees as the door swings open is two suits of armor. Skeletal. Somehow she got the feeling they were more or less watching her. She crept up to one and pried a shield from it's arms. It was a black kite shield, far too large for her to carry with one arm, and had a white kraken featured in pain on the front of it. The other armor had a white shield with a black dragon.
As he finished his previous statement, Robin had already made her way towards what seemed to be a set of doors.
"... you're not one to wait around. Hm. Is it instinct, curiosity, or idiocy?" he mumbled the last part to himself.
Upon entering what seemed to be a mansion, he looked at the suits of armor.
My, how... morbid. Yet somehow, familiar.
"... I didn't realize this structure was in the area. Strange, what do you suppose it is?"
Despite his aloof demeanor, he was interested as well.
