L was the best character in the entire series. Nuff said. One of the bossest boss of animation.

Do you mean to say defiantly or definitely? Anyways, Death Note is my second favorite, following Naruto. YYH is my third.

After L died, Ohba should've wrapped up the series instead continuing it.
besides that, it was really solid writing and production.

Loved Deathnote...

However....L's character irritated the living crap out of me. And honestly...the only reason I watched the first 25 episodes consecutively was to see the motherf***r die. His character reminds me of someone that pretends (poorly) to figure out something he already knows, and only does so to appear intelligent.

My favourite part was this
Play/start both clips at the same time

The soundtrack seems to add more emotion when I watch the anime... I love Opening 1 + Light and L's theme

I love Death Note so much! <3

I agree though, part 2 was just...eh. I kinda felt like Death Note lost its spark when L died. & I was so sad when L died, it was more of a wtf face and "holy shieeeet, no!!" face in one D:

I quite liked seeing Light and L work together; such a risky thing to do xD the whole time I was just waiting to see if L would find out Kira's identity.

I personally didn't like the ending, though. I just felt that it was rushed. With Near adamant on the fact that Light was Kira, it took the suspense away for me ;(

I'd like to point out that the anime and manga's ending are pretty different when talking about Death Note. I advise fans to see both of them. Plus the manga has some sort of "cult" praying to Kira and waiting for his return after he dies.

Is there any psychological manga(anime?) besides the Liar Game and Code Geass that you'd recommend after Death Note?

Hikaru No Go was done by an author and Takashi Obata (the artist) and it's kinda psycological. Also, 'Future Diary' reminded me a bit of death note
