In a hypothetical situation, if you had just found out that death exists today, would it change your views on it compared to knowing it exists since you were young? Would you be more scared of it, less worried etc?

If A person who always believed in internity and immortality suddenly realized that his life is to be short lives from his expected infinite stay on earth then I believe he or she would most definitely freak out

Well said. But just like my friend a couple of posts above I still don't quite understand what the OP means.

What kind of dumb question is that? Also how would I have not killed myself had I not known about death until now.

The state where you no longer can fab. I heard it' pretty terrifying

OT: Goes without saying.

Death is the only way to get unleashed from the cage you choose to exist in , some people survives the challenge...others surrender.

It is not terrifying , trust me.

That's sounds like a more accurate description of "birth", not "death".

How would I not know that death doesn't exist? Been around for 24 years now and have seen a lot of things die.

Sorry but the question doesn't make much sense, at least to me, but maybe someone can reconcile it for me...

You ask if my view on death would change if I found out just now that it exists, but before I didn't know it does. Well, obviously, just like my views on unicorns would change if I found out they exist, because, apparently, now I'd view them as real :| If you were trying to ask if my views on life would change, apparently, yes, because I just found out it's gonna end. And never mind that death can be defined as the end of life/existence.

A more entertaining question would have been how my life would change, what would I do differently, but then you could have just asked what would change if it turned out I have only a month or a year or a decade to live...

But you asked if I'd be more scared, or less worried...uhm, compared to what? Because, if you want to compare the hypothetical scenario to my actual reality, then what was the point of making up the hypothetical scenario, you could have just asked if I'm afraid of death, or how did I feel when I found out as a child that I will die one day... Other than that, by what cognitive process do you exactly expect me to ignore what I know and tell how would I feel if I didn't know those things? :| Coz then you could just ask for example, what would someone feel if they found out for sure that there is life after death? And that question still has more relevance imo, considering all the different beliefs about that, but then it'd be just another religious thread.

But I guess I'm overthinking it and maybe I just misunderstood you Zzz
