I came here to ask a few questions !

How do you think I should kill my characters ? Since they're in a context of war, do you think I should try to be realistic and have them die all of a sudden without being able to have last cool final words ? Or should I die give them all a poignant death ?

Just a tiny question.

A sudden death would either make the character fodder or make it unappealing if the character is important. Making a character say a few last words is better because :-

1 - It gives depth to character - This is done by the context of his last words.

2 - It makes the character memorable.

3 - You can use the death scenario for plot purposes to power up the hero emotionally.
