I have always thought of this too myself just because I want Naruto to get their powers but Minato killed that dream by saying that the only non jinchuuriki can perform the just but now that u brought it up maybe sasuke has the alternate jutsu so can get the yang chakra of the kyuubi

The sage of six paths must have made something that can revert death reaper seal but kept secret but as this seal is a forbidden jutsu no one uses this seal generally and no1 wanted to study it to find its reversal, may be future naruto can.

What makes you think death reaper seal was invented during his lifetime?

OT: If they get unsealed there sole is free but there body is still gone, so unless they get Edo'd not much will change.

They are dead, when they are sealed. It's not like Hiruzen vanished after using the reaper seal. Same goes for Minato and Kushina. They all got buried U_U

but both minato and kushina was apart of the seal that sealed kyuubi in naruto

If there is a reverse reaper seal, those trapped can only be revived with edo tensei because their bodies are still dead.

That could work if the seal was undone immediately. But the problem is that seal takes the soul from the body, leaving the body to decay. So even if the seal was undone, the body would still be destroyed.

Like Itachi said, every Jutsu has a weakness.. So why should the Death Reaper Seal have none?
Also we don't know what Orochimaru discoverd in his laboratory, it seems like he had a lot of time researching various things, coming up with some more or less "great" Jutsus. Maybe Orochimaru feared to be sealed / to have to seal himself with the Death Reaper Seal one day (for whatever reason), so he searched a way to escape from it if it would've happened. He was somewhat of a genius, so it is possible.
I think it's not that unlikely to happen that we may see some Minato or Hashirama beating the crap out of Madara.
If he can be f***ing revived in his prime, why shouldn't the good guys also become a chance of coming back?
