Not that i like death penalty's but i think that they're necessary in some cases,Some people are cancer to the community and they need to get eliminated, and i know that a human isn't suppose to judge another human mistakes(or at least they shouldn't) but humans aren't perfect therefore we only can try to be perfect and that's why death penalty's still exist.Humans fear is their worst enemy therefore other human take advantage of that intimidate criminals which Will "Supposedly" lead to less crime

I think some people are so twisted that they do deserve it.

There have been cases where innocent people have been killed and I think one innocent person is too many so it isn't worth the risk.

I also heard that the death penalty is more expensive than locking criminals up somehow but I'm not too sure.

I'm gonna say we shouldn't have it though.

Killing people who killed people because killing people is wrong.
Someone who kills others for their own personal interest shouldn't have the same rights as a normal person.

It's not about whether or not they deserve the same rights. If we kill them because they killed others, then we're no better.

If me and a few friends kill your mother and you hunt us down and kill us, you'd be charged and executed. Just because some took another's eye doesn't give everyone the right to take his as well.

Wrong example. We're talking about death penalty here, executed by the state. Not individual self righteousness/ vendetta.

And if we put someone in prison for let's say, stealing, how are "we" better? Does imprisonment for theft makes us better than the thief or what? But executing a relentless mass murderer makes us no better? By what logic?

I think it's right. Why let these guys sit in jail for jail sentences that will be for life? Just sentence to death at that point. Only if you know they are 100% guilty. No reason for dudes to sit on death row for 20+ years.

Killing people who killed people because killing people is wrong.

Who says it's wrong? That has been the mindset for thousands and thousands of years. You did something to me, I do it back to you. Instead of having them killed we're just supposed to let these murderers sit in jail all day and do nothing. It's not even like we're making good use of them. They are literally just sitting there all day until they die. Is that not just torture?

If the criminal is a threat to the whole country or a lot of people then yes...otherwise, it's somewhat a cruel things to do...

This issue has been a relatively hot topic in my country, as 2 Australian men are on death row in Indonesia for drug smuggling.(Australia is against the death penalty) Personally, I can understand if it's used on murderes who have been proven guilty beyond a shadow of a doubt (because there's always the risk of executing an innocent man), but not for other crimes.

Clearly is. Look at the crime rates between the countries that apply death penalties for most crimes, in comparison to countries like the U.S. and UK...It shows that death penalty is great solution. Reasons for:

1). Criminals will fear to commit crimes knowing the consequence is, thus crime rates drop down.
2). Economy can increase with less prison funding.
3). It satisfies the families of the victim.
