[Discussion] Death of the 2nd hokage

Ok so from what i can gather the second hokage died that day when he was out on a mission with his team (the ones in danzos flashback) so thats when The 3rd became Hokage. BUT what im a little confused about is that the 3rd had his own team (Oro, Jirya and slug girl) and was allot older in the flashbacks where he is shown with them, so did he train those three while he was hokage? or did the 2nd live a little longer. it just seems like the hokage would not have time to train a team like a regular teacher.

Are you serious? I think I missed that or something. When it comes to the manga I tend to forget a lot that's why I started watching instead a couple of weeks ago.

i was always curious about that myself, it all seemed a little out of whack to me from what we know as the standard operating procedure for the village

He died against the Gold and Silver Squad, which we assume had Kinkaku and Ginkaku... along with at least 18 other elite Jonin. There is no evidence whatever Kakuzu was there.

He never actually died by there hand. The 2nd Raikage did.
-Kinkaku and Ginkaku left the 2nd Hokage near death.

-The 2nd Hokage died by the hand of the Kinkaku Unit. Does Kinkaku lead the force? Is the Unit in memory of Kinkaku? The manga never said, we can only assume. Thus all we can say was that the 2nd died by a unit of elite ninjas.

Dont push ur self while reading mangas. Just read what is given and end it there if you try to use logici will end messed up so no logic from next time.

He actually wasn't killed by Kakuzu. It was Ginkaku and Kinkaku plus 20 other Shinobi from the Hidden Cloud.

Naturally Kinkaku and Ginkaku were no meager pushovers, and would only accept the best of the best with them....so One could imagine 20 people probably around the skill level of those two or maybee Zabuza or Kakashi, and that is what did him in.

Kakuzu meerly mentioned that it had been a long time since he had seen Ginkaku go into his Kurama Rage mode which may actually imply that he was responsible partially in their deaths...maybee he was just ironically around.
