Canto II

It felt like a choice. A commitment, what could turn my whole life around. "This book might get a
hold of me! I must resist!"
The book thy opened itself. A book which holds knowledge, more like
a treasure chest. I opened this treasure, thy pages like the elders from temples, cover made from
the shiniest gold. It was rather quiet, I couldn't hear anything, maybe it was this book what
grabbed my attention. It showed me places I had never seen, from mountains to valleys with a
pitch of never ending stories. "Who is this man? I do not know."

My mind had became more cursed as I was reading the very first pages of this book. It was
describing a very young boy named, Thaed. His father looks like lived in the Lands of Iron, it looked
like he was different from any other samurais. He had hold more a blade within his arsenal.
Something more fierce, but only those had to fear who opposed it. Where man had gripped, made
of bone. It looked like it was thorn out from something who you could of never missed its
appearance. Where blood covered, made of metal. It has said that the end of the blade, holds
something more powerful then any creature's imagination could reach. It reads as it had came from
a place thy holds hatred, more like envy. Where blade meets handle, a skull making an appearance
for my view. Horns growing out from its head and jaw. Such weapon able to reach both heaven
and hell, thy brings balance among worlds.

I had found a picture of this man, I couldn't see his face. Another item has caught my eye, may be
a weapon or a necklace. It looks like a cross, it appears to be a piece is missing from it. "Why is
it broken?"
I found out, he had a little flower, but its peddles had fallen off. When his flower had
gone dead, his pain had unleashed his darkest horrors. Like some demon had stepped in our realm.
As I read, I keep imagining such dreadful things he had done. "Why he had accomplished such
deeds?"
Something happened what no man could of seen. Nor his heart or mind had changed,
but there was still a broken cross on his chest. It looked like it couldn't be replaced or healed. Most
of all, his weapon had caught my eyes, and my thoughts of becoming like him, had unraveled my
mind.

The feeling what caught me in the moment is I need to find this man. Could be still walking his
path? I felt like this book had its claws on me, and would never let go of me. "What if my father
finds it out?"
But I did not feel fear for that. At the moment, I did not fear anything but a
motivation to find this soul, and replace him with myself. I never had any thoughts like this before,
as replacing anyone from their path, but I was certain that this book had may cursed me. I felt like
I only had taken minutes out of my time, but it was hours, almost dark. I closed the book, and I
took it with me with the hopes of having these treasures under my grip, but I promised myself, I
will not have a broken cross hinder my chest. I hid the book under my top, quietly walked out with
a feeling of being cautious of others, but not a soul had spotted me while being. I thought to
myself that of maybe my father wanted me to take such path. He knew that I had such, call it
powers? Everything is happening for a reason. As I closed its doors, it became locked before my
eyes. I felt like no other book in that place could replace my desires.

My father was still far where Land of Iron had its beginning. I had left the place for home. It was
dark, with the only eyes watching me was up on the skies. As I got home, I saw mother sleeping
next to the fire, hoping for her man to come home safe and his son, who's growing up to be a man.
I packed up for my path, I kissed my mother goodbye. Tears came down on my face, like a little
child who lost her mother in the park, but I was stronger then that. With a quietly closing door, I
had said another goodbye.
